Access control in community pools

Bikubo offers a system that allows you to control the capacity of a swimming pool, so that you know at all times the number of users that there are, and the history of the maximum number of users that there are in the different time zones of each day.

The generation of cards with different variable fields each is allowed (username, data associated with the home, ID, photograph, ...). These cards can be sent by email in bulk with an excel file, or they can be printed in different formats (plasticisable paper, PVC, ...). Each card is associated with a locator contained in a QR, or in an RFID or NFC chip, so that it can be read with our validation systems.

We offer several types of solutions for pool capacity control:

  1. Assign generic permissions to cardholders. Different categories of users can be created, so that different accesses can be configured for each type of card, and even for each user. Thus, you can create a category that allows access one week on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, and another for Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, or for specific dates, and our control system allows us to know if a user has access permission or not. These permissions can be modified.
  2. Card users can access an intranet, so that they can reserve the time slots that have been configured. The intranet administrator can make different configurations regarding the maximum number of allowed accesses.
  3. General access to all users, so that they can access the pool at any time, as long as there is capacity available (the maximum allowed capacity is not exceeded), but configuring time slots, so that if a user accesses to a time section with availability of capacity, and a time passes, and another user comes who wants to access and the capacity is complete, the system informs of the people who must leave the pool prioritizing based on first those who have enjoyed more than a time slot, and then it will be managed as a FIFO queue (the first one that entered, is the one that must leave).

WEB INFORMATION FOR USERS IN THE COMMUNITY POOL CAPACITY CONTROL

The users of the pool, have information on web pages to know the capacity of the pool. There is access to an informative web page on the situation of the capacity with the following information:

  1. An On-line query as a traffic light code of the pool's capacity at that time, and also that shows the numerical information of the current number of people and the number of places available (taking into account even those who have spent more than one section and they haven't come out yet):

    -Red color: Full capacity
-Orange color: Capacity about to be completed (for example, last 5 places)
    -Green color: Access available
-Blue color: It will indicate the number of people who are enjoying more than one time slot and who must leave the pool at any time, if the Access Control person requests it when wanting to access an accredited person who has not yet been to the pool.
  2. A historical query of the last 3 weeks, with the numerical detail of the occupation (with the same traffic light code above) of each time section, with the aim that the residents can determine at what times and on what days of the week, the pool is more accessible or more occupied.

COMMUNITY POOL CAPACITY MANAGEMENT INTRANET

Our system has an intranet for the administrator, which allows the following to be done:

  1. An incident management, where to deactivate temporarily, or by dates or permanently from the system lost or stolen cards.
  2. Quickly generate a new card for each user.
  3. It is possible to list for each user, the accesses they have had to the pool.
  4. Configure the time sections for the reservation system, and also the settings with the number of reservations allowed.

COMMUNITY POOL CAPACITY CONTROL DEVICES

The access control system can be based on a reading of QR codes, or on the reading of the rfid of the card. With a tablet with internet connection, you can carry out the control, and if you need to read rfid, coupling a reader to the tablet, the system would work automatically.

The reading system allows the following functions to be carried out:

  1. For the ENTRY:
    - Capture the QR code of the card or read the RFID chip.
    - Verify the card as authorized access.
    - Check the availability of capacity.
    - Access allowed with updating of the access record and updating the capacity.
    - Access denied due to unavailability of capacity, being able to see the name of the borrower who must leave the pool, in the order:
    1. Accredited person who has been in more than one time slot
    2. FIFO queue with borrowers who have completed their time slot

  2. For the EXIT:
    - Capture the QR code of the card or read the RFID chip.
    - Release a slot of the capacity.

GUEST MANAGEMENT FOR POOL ACCESS

Our system allows a guest control. Pool users have guest cards with which they would access the pool. The system is configurable in terms of the maximum allowed number of guests, and it can also be required that for a guest to access, it is necessary that they have a community accredited inside, and that when the accredited person leaves, they inform him that the guests who are inside. Specific access conditions can be established for guests, in terms of days of the week and access hours
