The reading system of the QR/bar codes generated by bikubo is quite fast from mobile devices (tablets or mobile phones/cell phones). However, in certain environments such as low-light places, or for events that may require even more rapidity because there are many attendees, we offer the possibility to connect a reading scanner to Android devices via Bluetooth (not for iOS).

To attach a reading scanner to Android devices, it is necessary to perform the following steps:

1. Enable the bluetooth connection on the Android device.

2. Turn on the scanner, and follow the instructions in the help manual of the reading scanner to allow it to be paired by bluetooth.

3. Click on the Android device to search for devices by bluetooth.

4. Once the scanner is located by Bluetooth on the Android device, click on the icon, and this way it is already paired.

5. In the intranet of the administrator, in the section 'My details' (https://bikubo.com/en/users/index.html), you must have selected the option 'Enable the validation reading via barcode scanner'.

6. Start the bikubo app, and log in with the user of the app and password that is shown in the 'My details' section.

7. If you were already logged in with the username and password, click on the menu button, 'Update menu'.

8. Everything is already set so that you can read through the scanner, and communicate the readings to the Android device. Select in the menu of the app, the session that you will validate, and once selected, scan one by one the tickets/accreditations with the scanner.

9. Do not scan two QR codes/consecutive bars, until the main screen of the app (the one that shows the 'Open scanner' button) is displayed, to allow the app to be listening for data reception by the scanner .
