By adding a new distributor, or later in the modification of the data of the same, you can indicate that he will be the manager of distributors, so that you can enable or not, that he can add distributors that depend on him, and also that he can activate or cancel the tickets of the distributors that depend on him. In this way, the manager of distributors help you as administrator of the event to control the distributors and sales, as well as to cancel or reactivate the tickets as appropriate. The managers of distributors can assign the tickets assigned to them, among the distributors that depend on them, and also retrieve the tickets from their distributors and redistribute them.
To become a manager to a distributor that you have previously registered, you must follow these steps:
-
Click on Menu => Distributors => Active. The list of those that are active is displayed.
-
Find the distributor to become a manager, and click on 'modify'.
-
Select the option 'This person is a manager of distributors'. You can also allow it to add new distributors, which will depend directly on it, and if you want to allow it to cancel / activate tickets from its distributors.
The operations that can be carried out by a distributor manager are:
-
If enabled by the event administrator, he can add new distributors from his intranet. The distributors he adds directly appear as they depend on him.
-
For the printed tickets assigned to him by the administrator, he can redistribute them among the distributors that depend on him. For example if you have assigned the tickets from 1 to 100 to him, he can assign a distributor from 1 to 20, so that in the sales statistics, they will appear as sold by the distributor dependent on it, but he will be known as sold as sales manager.
-
The printed tickets assigned to the distributors that are dependent on him can be removed, so that they will now appear as assigned to the distributor manager.
-
The electronic tickets assigned to the manager can be assigned to the distributors that depend on him. For example if you have assigned 150 electronic tickets to the manager, he can assign them in the way he considers to his distributors.
-
The electronic tickets assigned to the distributors dependent on him, can be removed, so that the number of electronic tickets of the manager will increase in the amount of electronic tickets removed.
-
If the event administrator enables it, he can cancel the tickets of the distributors that he considers necessary (suppose for example the loss of printed tickets by his distributors, or the lack of payment of the same), also reactivate it.
-
A manager can deactivate a distributor that depends on him, so he can not access the intranet, and thus not to distribute electronic tickets.
-
If you have enabled the registration of distributors, a manager can eliminate a distributor that depends on him, thereby removing the assigned tickets, and also can not access the intranet, and thus not to distribute electronic tickets.
-
If you have enabled the possibility of uploading an excel file with the emails, name and/or ID of the attendees, you can send the tickets to the attendees in bulk, and save the data of the attendees, so that they appear in the attendance reports after the validations.
The changes that you make of manager of distributors, have the following effects:
-
A distributor that you have previously registered without a manager, you can modify it to depend on a manager, this way you allow the manager to assign and control his tickets.
-
You can change the manager of a distributor, who has previously assigned to another manager. With this operation you also modify the statistics, and make the tickets assigned to the previous manager, become part of the new manager.
-
You can make a manager of distributors stop being a manager, assigning to another manager in order to depend on this new one. With this operation you also make that the distributors that depended on him, happen to depend on the new manager, so the new manager will control them.
-
You can make a distributor manager stop being a manager, but this time without assigning him a manager. With this operation you also make that the distributors that depended on him, happen to not depend on any manager, being only controlled by the administrator of the event.
When registering a distributor, you can do it by indicating that it depends on a manager, so that you allow the manager to assign and control his tickets.
