Sending sms to a list of phone numbers through an excel file

You can upload an Excel file with the data you need for mass delivery.

Click on Menu => My data => Advanced settings => Access to the SMS sending module. The screen where this function is performed is displayed.

Click on the link to download the template, and then you will be able to fill in the required and optional data for it. As mandatory is the first field of each row which is the phone number. The rest of the fields are optional.

On the other hand, we indicate that the encoding of the SMS characters can be of two types: UTF-16 and GSM-7.

You can select one type of encoding or another, depending on whether the SMS to be sent contain special characters (for example, tildes or ñ). If you plan to send SMS with special characters, select the utf-16 option, and bear in mind that the maximum length of each SMS will be 70 characters. However, you can select the GSM-7 option if you do not expect the SMS to contain special characters (the maximum length will be 160 characters), but bear in mind that if it contains any special characters, it will not be displayed correctly.

The text to send in the SMS, you can define it in the text box below. You can include the variable texts of the columns as follows: [[variable_1]], [[variable_2]],… up to [[variable_5]], which will correspond to the value you include in the relevant column.

When you fill in the text of the SMS to send below, the upload of the Excel file will be enabled.

Upload the Excel file to carry out the mass sending of SMS, and the validation of whether it is correct or not will be carried out, and if the sending is allowed, the cost that the mass sending of SMS.
