We define in this section the general concepts that will be used in the bikubo platform
-
Event: It is an event to organize/celebrate on a specific date. Example: a concert, a party, a conference, an exhibition, a congress, etc.
-
Ticket category: It is a type of access associated with an event. Example: VIP, Normal, seat, amphitheater, gate A, gate B,... Tickets will be generated from each ticket category.
-
Ticket: It is a physical or electronic support that certifies the holder access after the appropriate control to an event, associated with a predefined ticket category.
-
Accreditation category: It is a type of access associated with an event. Example: VIP, Normal, seat, amphitheater, gate A, gate B,... It differs from tickets in that it allows text fields to be included in it, and can be sent massively from an excel file. Accreditations will be generated from each type of accreditation.
-
Accreditation: It is an electronic support generated by the bikubo platform, via email or pdf request, that allows the holder access after the appropriate control to an event, associated with a predefined type of accreditation.
IMPORTANT: The ticket and the accreditation will be designed by the administrator and their file must have a series of characteristics:
Format .jpg
Maximum size 10 MB
Image dimensions according to the size of the ticket.
Sufficient space in the design for placing the security element: QR, BarCode.
-
Electronic ticket: It is a ticket generated through the send/generate ticket function to an attendee.
-
Printed ticket: It is a ticket generated by requesting bikubo for the ticket printing service, or by requesting the generation of a pdf with tickets (we understand from bikubo that this pdf will be taken to print at another printing house trusted by the administrator).
-
Electronic accreditation: It is an accreditation generated through the send/generate accreditation function to an attendee, or by generating a pdf with accreditations.
-
Administrator: It is the user who signs up on the bikubo platform, and likewise controls the events, tickets and accreditations. It is the event promoter.
-
Attendee: It is a person in possession of a ticket (printed or electronic) or an accreditation associated with a category of an event.
-
Distributor: It is a user registered by an administrator, for the distribution, by sending by mail or physical delivery of the ticket to the attendee.
-
Offline ticket sale: bikubo allows tickets to be sold offline, so that when the distributor (or the administrator themselves) sends (by mail) or delivers (physically printed) the ticket, they receive payment in cash. Without intermediaries. bikubo exclusively offers the possibility of adding security to tickets, without interest in the ticket price, nor commission on the price, nor any additional data.
-
Event date: It is the day the event is scheduled and the validation of tickets will proceed.
-
Event time zone: It is the GMT time of the area where the event will be held. It must be selected when creating the event, so that in the access reports, it adjusts to the correct time zone.
-
Validator: It is the user of the bikubo app who at the access control gate of an event, scans the tickets to check their validity.
