We have enabled a module so you can generate an attendee waiting list for tickets or credentials.
The waiting list can be generated automatically through the parameterization of the forms you request, so that when an attendee fills out the form, they are added to the list, or you can add attendees from previously saved lists or you can add attendees to the list one by one.
An example of the usefulness of a waiting list is for events with limited capacity, and open registration process, so you can select the attendees who can attend at your convenience, with greater ease and speed of management.
In addition, if you have created a list of attendees that you consider you will reuse in future events, you can add the attendees you consider to a saved waiting list or first create a saved waiting list, to add the attendees.
Below we explain how waiting lists work. Each ticket/credential category has its own waiting list, and you access it by clicking on Menu => Events => Active => Title of the event in question => List of ticket/credential categories => ticket/credential in question (option - Manage waiting lists).
Click on the 'Add new attendee to the list' button and a pop-up screen will be displayed, where you can manually enter the data and email of the event attendee you want. You can indicate the order number they occupy on the waiting list. The data you fill in is the same that will appear in the attendee list, and in the case of credentials, fields 1, 2, 3,... will correspond to the equivalents for the credential. The only mandatory data to fill in is the attendee's email.
With the attendees on a waiting list you can perform a series of operations:
Click on the 'Manage saved ticket waiting lists' button, to create, edit, delete or use the saved attendee waiting lists you have. Saved waiting lists are useful for example, to manage attendees who are regular at your events. The data of attendees on a saved list is the same as that of the category's waiting list, as well as that of the final attendee list.
