With bikubo you can have a recurring event, with its ticket or credential categories, and have a form so that the attendee selects a date, and for that date, a ticket or credential category, and thus access is enabled for that date.
An example of a website that has a form for selling tickets on multiple dates is the following: multitickets-A10-267.html
Let's suppose for example a theater that has a recurring event every Friday and Saturday from one date to another date. With bikubo, the event (the performance to be staged) would be registered, along with the ticket/credential categories and access dates.
This access control system could also work for a nightclub, which is open for example on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, throughout the year or a period of time, and attendees select the access date, and buy their tickets, with different types of ticket categories possible (GENERAL, VIP, ....).
Another utility could be a museum that is open daily, and that intends to establish access control for different dates, through a single sales form.
Our system allows great flexibility in its configuration for each date, since for example, different prices can be set according to days of the week or specific dates, or indicate dates when sales are not available. You can also set different maximum numbers of tickets to sell according to dates.
Below is an explanation of the ticket sales system configuration for multiple days.
If the event requires a seating map, please contact us first so we can generate it for you, otherwise, you can self-manage it by following these steps:
First, you must register the event. To do this, you can follow the instructions in this link: add-event.html
Next, add as many ticket or credential categories as you need. For this, the instructions in the following links are indicated:
For tickets: add-ticket-category.html
For credentials: add-type-accreditation.html
After that, we configure one by one the forms for each ticket/credential category to be sold. To do this, you can follow the instructions in the following link: add-form-ticket-sales-accreditations.html. Keep in mind that the form has common data for all event categories, and specific data for each category (price, maximum number of sales, use of specific codes for each category).
Once the ticket and/or credential categories have been registered and the forms configured, or we have generated the seating map for you, proceed to configure the specific parameters for multi-day sales.
First we configure at the event level. To do this, click on Events => Active => Advanced configuration (of the Event in question). There should be displayed the 'Sales management for different dates' module. If it is not displayed, send an email to admin@bikubo.com to enable it (by default, after user registration it is disabled to avoid showing options that will not be used).
In this module you can configure the start and end dates for sales, after each change, you must click on Save changes. Then click on 'Advanced editing', and it takes you to a specific screen where you can configure availability.
Depending on how you have configured this section, and also according to how you have configured the advanced date options for each ticket/credential category, in the ticket/credential sales/sending form that attendees to your event see, a calendar will be displayed with dates available or not, on which they can access your event.
If you want to allow access on one or several specific dates, you can select one or several dates, for which access validation of tickets/credentials is allowed.
If on the contrary, you want the calendar to be displayed for all days in the proposed date range, select the option 'Allow validation any day'.
The other option is to enable access according to the day of the week. So, you can enable access for example on Monday, Tuesday, and so on until Sunday, enabling the days you consider appropriate, for the proposed date range.
Finally, in this section, you can also indicate the dates for which access is not allowed, so that this date cannot be selected in the calendar.
Once the dates are configured at the event level, you must configure the dates for each ticket/credential category of the event that you plan to sell. To do this, click on Events => Active => List of ticket/credential categories (of the Event in question) => Advanced configuration (of the category in question). There should be displayed for the selected category, the 'Sales management for different dates' module, on which you will have to click the 'Advanced editing' button, and it takes you to a specific screen where you can configure availability.
You can set a date range for which this ticket category will be displayed as available. Keep in mind the dates previously set in the event configuration, to display a calendar in the form, so the dates you define for this ticket category must be within the calendar you define for the event.
Depending on how you have configured this section, and also according to how you have configured the advanced date options for the event, in the ticket/credential sales/sending form that attendees to your event see, a calendar will be displayed with dates available or not, on which this ticket/credential category will be displayed.
If you want to allow access on one or several specific dates, you can select one or several dates, for which access validation of that ticket/credential category is allowed.
If on the contrary, you want that ticket/credential category to be displayed in the calendar for all days in the proposed date range, select the option 'Allow validation any day'.
The other option is to enable access for that ticket/credential category according to the day of the week. So, you can enable access for example on Monday, Tuesday, and so on until Sunday, enabling the days you consider appropriate, for the proposed date range.
You can define for that ticket/credential category, different prices for each date, and the maximum number of tickets to generate/send for each date. They can be those defined in the form for that ticket/credential category, or set other specific ones for each date.
Finally, you can also indicate the dates for which access is not allowed, so that this date cannot be selected in the calendar, for that ticket/credential category.
The established parameters can be modified at any time at your convenience. For example, you can disable or enable the form for specific dates, or change the number or price equally for dates or ranges.
Once the configuration is done, you can access the form link. To do this, click on Events => Active => List of ticket/credential categories (of the Event in question) => Registration forms (the selected category doesn't matter). It takes you to a screen where the link is displayed. In addition, an html code is displayed in case you want to incorporate the form into a website other than bikubo's.
This form has two ticket categories defined (GENERAL and VIP), with sales enabled both on Fridays and Saturdays, with both ticket categories having a different price on Friday than on Saturday.
The attendee must select from the calendar the date they plan to attend the event, select the ticket category, fill in the data and after making payment, receive their tickets by email, which will only be valid for the selected day.
In our intranet you can see sales statistics by date, and access. The following link explains details about statistics: validations-sales-statistics.html
