Sending sms to a list of attendees of a category of an event.

SMS sending is allowed to each attendee by ticket/credential/card categories, so they can receive an SMS with fixed and variable data such as the ticket, the name, field 1, ...

Click on Menu => My Data => Advanced Settings => Access to the sms sending module. The screen where this function is performed is displayed.

Click on the link to list the countries and the price of each SMS for each country. It also shows an example of a phone number for each country, and thus know the format that each phone number must follow that each attendee must comply with.

You can choose the attendees to whom to send the SMS, according to the ticket/credential/card category. First select the event, and then the category, for which you want the sending to be carried out.

The text to send in the SMS can be defined in the text box below. For ticket categories, you can include variable texts from the columns in the following way: [[name]], [[id]] and [[observations]], which will correspond to the value you include in the corresponding column.

For credential and card categories, you can include variable texts from the columns in the following way: [[field_1]], [[field_2]], up to field [[field_20]], and also [[observations]], which will correspond to the value you include in the corresponding column.

The variable text [[tk]] will be replaced by the download link of the sent ticket, so that the recipient can click it and download it. On the other hand, we inform you that the character encoding of the SMS can be of two types: UTF-16 and GSM-7.

You can select one type of encoding or another, depending on whether the SMS to be sent contain special characters (for example accents or ñ). If you plan to send SMS with special characters, select the UTF-16 option, and keep in mind that the maximum length of each SMS will be 70 characters. However, you can select the GSM-7 option if you do not plan to send SMS with special characters, and the maximum SMS length will be 160 characters, but keep in mind that if it contains any special character, it will not display correctly.

First select the event, then the category.

You can also send an sms to an attendee of your event, first accessing the attendee list (for tickets it is indicated how to access through this link list-attendees-tickets.html, for credentials list-attendees-accreditations.html, and for cards listing-cards-users.html). Once you have accessed the list, for the attendee you want to send an sms to, click on the message icon, a popup window is displayed with the necessary data for sending the sms.
